Harvey Elliott may face anxious World Cup wait as England injury issue emerges
Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott could yet realise his World Cup dream with Leicester City's James Maddison struggling with a hamstring injury he has been managing.
Maddison has sat out of England's training in Qatar for the past two days and is now set to miss the Three Lions' clash with Iran on Monday.

Mason Mount breaks silence on transfer rumours amid Liverpool links
Mason Mount insists he will not become distracted by speculation over his future amid reports that Liverpool are monitoring his contract situation.
The Guardian reported yesterday that the Reds and Juventus are 'keeping track' of Mount's situation at Stamford Bridge, with his current contract ending in 2024 and no breakthrough in negotiations over a new deal. Such discussions have been put on hold over the winter as the midfielder heads to Qatar to represent England in the World Cup.
The 23-year-old flew out to the Middle East with his Three Lions teammates earlier this week and is fighting for a place in the team come Monday, when they kick-off their campaign against Iran. But amid the speculation back home, Mount remains steadfast in his focus on making an impact for his country.
