Harry Toffolo makes Nottingham Forest plea ahead of final run in

Harry Toffolo insists Nottingham Forest are "fighting every day" to retain their Premier League status amid relegation concerns.

Forest have dropped to the bottom three after recording a run of nine games without a win. With eight games left to play until the end of the season, the Reds face a tough run in with Manchester United, Liverpool, Brighton, Chelsea and Arsenal to come.

Out of those games, four will be played away from home, where Steve Cooper's side will be looking to reverse their away form, after struggling to pick up points. Toffolo meanwhile, has pleaded fans to stick with the club in what is set to be a key few weeks to determine their fate.

"I hope they know how much they mean to us, as players and staff," Toffolo told the On and Off the Pitch Podcast. "Because not only do they make us feel proud to play for this football club, I hope we make they proud playing for this football club as well.

"We know there's an incredible history at this football club and we know how much it means to support us, and for the generations before. But there is a new era now and these players are fighting every day to keep this team in the Premier League.

"To move them up the divisions, because ultimately, we want to move up the league table, we don't want to be fighting for relegation, every team wants to be pushing on. But just to stick with us in the times that are hard because when it's good, we'll only enjoy it together and we can make the most of it."
