Harry Styles smacked in the face by flying object during live performance

Harry Styles was seemingly hit in the face by a flying object while performing on stage during his show in Vienna, Austria, over the weekend. Footage of the moment on social media captures the As It Was singer wincing and covering his eyes with his left hand after showing what appeared to be an object thrown at him on Saturday night.

The former One Direction star can be seen walking across the stage, donning green sparkly trousers and a purple waistcoat before stopping briefly. He swiftly bends over and covers his face before continuing to walk, while still covering his face.

The video, which appears to have been filmed by a fan who was there at the time and goes by the username Harryloustan1 on Instagram, has been heavily circulated online. "Stop throwing shot at him and especially his face!!!!", the furious fan wrote.

Many people have flooded the comment section with messages of their own. Tpwkbae put: "I feel bad for him." Ammelazon added: "It's a shame." Oliviasitek fumed: "Yooo that’s so disrespectful."

Louandhaz asked: "The only important question here - is he okay now?" Harryloustan1 replied: "I hope so. He finished the show as if nothing happened."

It comes as objects being thrown by fans at artists on stage has become a somewhat trend lately. During her performance at Hyde Park last month, singer Pink was left stunned as a fan threw her mother's ashes during the middle of a performance.

In New York City last month, Bebe Rexha was hit by a phone while on stage. She got a black eye and a suspect was arrested.

An item was also tossed on stage at country singer Kelsea Ballerini while she was performing in Idaho, US. The incident led her to temporarily pause the show.

"Don’t throw things," she told the crowd later on, adding: "I just want it to be a safe place for everyone. We have little kids here, and can you help me do that tonight?"

At her show in Las Vegas last week, Adele urged audience members to stop throwing things. "Have you noticed how people are like, forgetting f****** show etiquette at the moment?" She fumed. "People just throwing s*** onstage, have you seen them?"

"I f****** dare you. Dare you to throw something at me and I’ll f****** kill you." Harry Styles record label has been approached for comment.
