Chris Pine has attracted much attention over an interview he did with Don't Worry Darling co-star Harry Styles during the promotion of the new film at the Venice Film Festival.
The project stars Florence Pugh, 26, as a housewife who suspects secrets within her community, alongside co-stars including Chris, 42, Harry, 28, and director Olivia Wilde, 38.
The cast have been promoting the psychological thriller at the film festival in Italy this week, with Chris and Harry taking part in a press junket for it together yesterday (August 5).
It has prompted some interesting reactions, as viewers believe Chris was "zoning out" and "screaming internally" over comments made by his co-star during the interview.
Discussing the project, Harry said: "My favorite thing about the movie is like it feels like a movie. It feels like a real like, y'know, go to the theatre film [...] The reason why you go to watch something on the big screen."
Chris is seen hardly moving and seemingly staring off into the distance as his co-star speaks, with fans feeling as though he was "zoning out" and "screaming internally".
The clip - which has been dubbed "painful" - was shared on social media, including by a Twitter user who wrote: "You can almost see the screams catching in his throat."
A viewer responded: "Poor Chris Pine looks like he'd rather be anywhere else on the planet". Another said he was "doing the best acting of his life there keeping a straight face."
A third commented: "Poor guy got saved from the weird drama [surrounding the film] and now he had to sit and listen to a co-star say that."
Another said: "I've been a diehard [fan of Chris' for 20 years] and I can confidently say he is reconsidering all his life choices here. Literally dissociating from his surroundings".

"I would've reacted the same if I had a guy next to me that said that greatest thing about acting is that you feel like [you're] in a movie," another viewer responded to the clip.
Another said that Chris - known for roles in franchises like Star Trek and Wonder Woman - got "stuck on a junket with a man who has seemingly just figured out what acting is".
It was also said that his reaction isn't a reflection of his relationship with Harry as "you can like someone and still space out when they start a random a** monologue".
Others have noted that Harry - who's best known for being a singer - spoke about his experience with acting at another press event, saying he often has "no idea what [he's] doing".
The footage from the press junket comes amid the claim that he 'spat' on Chris whilst attending another part of the film festival yesterday.
It's the latest alleged drama surrounding Don't Worry Darling, which is due to be released in the UK later this month, following its premiere at the Venice Film Festival.
The Mirror approached Chris and Harry's reps for comment.
