Harry Styles has declared receiving a Blue Peter gold badge, awarded for his musical career and inspiring young people, as potentially his "proudest achievement".

The 32-year-old singer, a childhood viewer of the programme, said: "I grew up watching Blue Peter and I never thought I would get one of these… this might be my proudest achievement."
