Former West Ham United player and manager Harry Redknapp has named a Hammers player in his Premier League Team of the Week.
Gianluca Scamacca and Jarrod Bowen both got their first league goals of the season on Saturday evening to earn West Ham a 2-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers at the London Stadium, a result that led to Wolves sacking manager Bruno Lage on Sunday.
While goals from Scamacca and Bowen capped off two good individual performances from the attacking duo, who have a combined total of seven goals in all competitions this season, it was German international defender Thilo Kehrer who impressed former Hammers boss Redknapp.

Having played at right-back for Germany against England a week ago, David Moyes moved Kehrer to right-back for the match against the Old Gold, with Craig Dawson making his first league start of the season at centre-back.
In the match, Kehrer made the joint-highest amount of tackles with five, the same number as Czech Republic colleague Tomas Soucek. He also made four clearances, a key pass and his blocked shot let to Bowen making it 2-0.
That led to Redknapp naming him in his Team of the Week for BetVictor. He was impressed by Kehrer’s defensive work and is expecting more good things to come form the former Paris Saint-Germain defender.
“He’s starting to settle into life at the London Stadium,” Redknapp told BetVictor. “I was impressed with his work defensively, but as he grows in confidence, he looks like he’ll provide a bit of an attacking threat as well. One to keep an eye on.”
Also in Redknapp’s 11 this week are Manchester City duo Erling Haaland and Phil Foden, who both scored hat-tricks in City’s 6-3 win over Manchester United on Sunday. Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus also makes the cut after scoring in their 3-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur.
Harry Redknapp’s Team of the Week in full : Neto (Bournemouth); Thilo Kehrer (West Ham United), Conor Coady (Everton), Thiago Silva (Chelsea), Ben White (Arsenal); Leandro Trossard (Brighton and Hove Albion), Joe Willock (Newcastle United), Miguel Almiron (Newcastle United); Phil Foden (Manchester City), Erling Haaland (Manchester City), Gabriel Jesus (Arsenal).
