Harry Potter star Chris Rankin has revealed he has asked his long term girlfriend Ness Beecroft to marry him.
The actor has taken to Instagram to show of the exciting photos that he pop the question during a trip away to Florida.
The 38-year-old, who played Percy Weasley in the movie franchise, posted the news to his 55.4k followers on Thursday evening.
While posing together as Ness showed off her sparkling ring, Chris bragged that Ness had been upgraded to 'fiancée'.
As Chris smiled from ear to ear as the two posed on a balcony, he wrote: "Happy news! I asked @nessabeecroft if she fancied upgrading to fiancée, and she seemed ok with the idea."

He the finished off the caption with a red love heart emoji.
Chris' Harry Potter co-stars took to the comments to congratulate the couple on their exciting news.
Tolga Safar, who played Igor Karkaroff's sidekick in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, commented: "Huge congratulations. Lovely news."
While Afshan Azad, who played Padma Patel in the Harry Potter movies, wrote: "Omgggg ANDDDD I ASKED YOU WHEN!! Congratulations to you both."
Meanwhile, other fans of the star shared their congratulations.
One wrote: "Omg guys congratulations, its about damn time @cwrankin !! love you both @nessa_beecroft"
Another said: "Congratulations to you both! Sake on me @nessa_beecroft when I see you next!" and another added: "Aww!! Congratulations! Happy for you both."
As a fourth commented: "Love the caption. Congratulations, all my best."
Chris and Ness live together in South Wales along with their two dogs, named Stanley and Boo.
The two have been an item for the last six years, with Chris being married to ex Megan Walker beforehand.
It's not known how the newly engaged couple met but Chris sweetly said back in 2020: "When you're not looking for something, the one thing you didn't know you were missing turns up and makes everything right."
After finding fame on the J.K Rowling based franchise, Chris has stayed in a similar industry and now works in television and Film production.
His most recent works includes being part of the production side of fantasy-adventure programme Atlantis, period drama Downton Abbey and Sky's A Discovery of Witches.
This comes after Chris revealed that after the Harry Potter films, he worked in a Wetherspoons pub due to not finding any other work.
He reflected on the struggle to find work and to pay his bills so he worked at one of the pubs in Monmouth, South Wales when he was inbetween roles.
Chris told Daily Mail : "People know actors don't get paid a lot of money, there's not a lot of work and there's a lot of unemployed actors.
"But there's a misconception that if you have a job in a high profile thing that it pays really well and you're made with your mansion."
