Harry Kane’s first season with Bayern Munich is off to a strong start, as the English striker entered Saturday with nine goals and four assists to begin his Bundesliga career. In Saturday’s match against SV Darmstadt, though, Kane produced his best game and most impressive highlight of the season to date.
Bayern was already ahead 4-0, and Kane already had scored once, when he took a rainbow shot from midfield and launched it over the opposing goalie. The result was one of the most impressive scores in any soccer game this season, as Bayern romped to an 8-0 victory.

Harry Kane is still underrated. 90% of football fans still don’t understand how good he is despite all his goals. One of the greatest players ever. Not just goalscorers ever! 🏴 https://t.co/qRdCg6GqtZ

Kane added another goal later in the game, giving him a second hat trick for Bayern this year. The 30-year-old now has 12 goals on the year, second-most in the Bundesliga this season behind VfB Stuttgart’s Serhou Guirassy (14).
