Harry Kane took aim at the Marseille fans who gave Tottenham an unfriendly welcome to the south of France after Spurs’ dramatic Champions League victory.
A late Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg goal guaranteed their progression to the last-16 after Clement Lenglet had levelled the score at Stade Velodrome when Tottenham were teetering on the brink of missing out.
“Full time fireworks,” Kane tweeted with a picture of the Spurs dressing room celebrations.
The night before the crucial match, players were awoken by fireworks being let off outside their hotel.

Loud bangs were heard at 1am and 4.30am as the locals tried to disrupt their team’s opponents.
The atmosphere inside Marseille’s stadium was typically hostile as Spurs struggled to get going on Tuesday night, before pulling through.
The club Twitter account also referenced the firework display with a tweet that simply read “BANG!” after Hojbjerg’s winner.
Meanwhile, Richarlison tweeted: “Great job tonight guys! COYS.”
