Harry Clarke has returned to Hibs training.
The former Ross County defender was one of Shaun Maloney's first signings.
However he picked up an injury just a short time after signing on loan at Easter Road.
With games coming up against Dundee United and then a Hearts double header, Clarke's return could be pivotal to his club's fortunes if he is deemed fit enough to be involved in any games.
Clarke spent time at the Staggies on an 18 month loan deal from Arsenal before Hibs boss Maloney made the plea with the Gunners and the player to take him to Leith.
Meanwhile Jak Alnwick is NOT a transfer target for the Hibees.
The St Mirren goalkeeper had been linked with a potential swoop for the former Rangers stopper but the publication claims Hibs have "categorically denied" any interest.
Matt Macey and Kevin Dabrowski are the current numbers one and two at Hibs.
Aberdeen are on the hunt for Alnwick with ex-boss Jim Goodwin hoping for a reunion at Pittodrie.
