Harry and Meghan to join Jubilee for Trooping the Colours - but won't stand with the Queen

The Platinum Jubilee kicks off today (June 2) celebrating Her Majesty's 70 years on the throne.

Millions of people around the world will be tuning in as well as many enjoying four-day weekend.

The first official event is Trooping the Colours to mark The Queen's official birthday and bring a spirit of togetherness, as the Mirror reports.

Prince Harry and Meghan will be joining in the celebrations after spending most of the last couple of years in the USA.

The couple flew in yesterday from California with their two children, three year-old Archie and 11-month old Lilibet.

However, while they will be there to celebrate Her Majesty's reign, Harry and Meghan will not be on the main balcony as only 'working members' will attend.

The royal family will stand on the balcony at the Horse Guard Parade for the RAF fly past later today with Prince Charles, Prince William and Princess Anne joining the Queen.

Prince Andrew will not be attending after he was removed from royal duties and has since made a £12million payout over sexual assault claims.
