Harry and Meghan Markle spotted out in Hollywood after Frogmore eviction reports

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were seen enjoying a Hollywood date night following their Frogmore Cottage eviction.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex confirmed on Wednesday that they had been asked to hand over the keys to the Windsor property gifted to them by the Queen in 2018.

They were reportedly not told Prince Andrew would move into Frogmore after being evicted from their official UK residence, with King Charles said to have made the decision to remove the couple from the property within hours of Harry's memoir Spare being released.

The couple had renewed the lease on the residence only a year ago, despite having relocated to California.

Despite their move to the US and stepping back from royal life, it's understood the Sussexes considered the cottage, which is ensconced on the Windsor estate, the “only place that’s left as a safe space” for them and their children in the UK.

A spokesperson for the Sussexes said: “We can confirm The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been requested to vacate their residence at Frogmore Cottage."

Charles' decision to evict the Sussexes also throws into further doubt whether they will be given an invite to his coronation in May.

However, Harry and Meghan hid any disappointment at the news as they were seen out for the first time since the controversial publication of Spare two months ago.

The pair attended Hollywood restaurant San Vicente Bungalows, The Sun reports, just days before Harry, 38, joins a live-stream question and answer session with members of the public.

Harry will chat with addiction expert Dr Gabor Mate, with punters paying £17 to join the pair as they “discuss the difficulties of living with loss, as well as the importance of personal healing”.

Physician Dr Mate deals with drug addiction and the potential lifelong impacts of childhood trauma.

He has run a retreat in the Amazon jungle, healing guests with hallucinogenic natural high ayahuasca.

The Duke has previously spoken about his personal use of ayahuasca, which is a Class A substance in the UK.

Dr Mate is also behind a controversial Canada clinic called Insite, where it is legal for drug addicts to inject themselves with heroin.
