Prince Harry and Meghan Markle chose to make a 'bold' public appearance at an exclusive A-List club after being evicted from Frogmore Cottage, it has been claimed.
The Duke, 38, and Duchess, 41, of Sussex, dropped in to San Vicente Bungalows in West Hollywood earlier this month, reportedly on the very same day the Palace told them they would need to vacate the royal property in Windsor.
Photographs showed the Duchess of Sussex exiting the car in a Carolina Herrera cape coat with a pair of black Christian Dior high heels., while the Duke could be seen wearing a pair of jeans and a tweed jacket.
Now, a fellow member of the club has said the pair may have chosen deliberately to use the public front entrance rather than the private back door to make a "bold" statement.
Commenting on their appearance at the club located four hours away from their mansion in Montecito, a source told Page Six: "I think it was definitely a statement coming on the evening of the Frogmore news."
It was reported earlier this month that Harry and Meghan had been asked to vacate Frogmore Cottage, and they will not renew their lease when it soon expires.

Speaking a few days after their visit to San Vicente Bungalows, another insider said Harry and Meghan were finally able to "get back to enjoying themselves again" amid the busy schedule of parenthood by making a A-List appearance.
The source said: "They've been trying to find time for more of these types of date nights, which isn't easy given their intense schedules as well as raising the kids.
"But this was something they freed themselves up for and the word is that it was important to send a message that they're not rattled or letting this Frogmore situation get to them."
