According to royal expert Jennie Bond, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex didn’t need to produce a mountain of content – they just needed to share their inside story about royal life, and that’s precisely what Netflix wanted.
Speaking to The Mirror, Jennie explained that the streaming giant’s real interest was in the personal account of Harry and Meghan’s time as senior royals, something they had already explored through their series and documentaries. “It’s quite obvious that Netflix got involved with them because they wanted the inside story of their royal life. And they got it,” she said.
