Any hopes of a reconciliation between Prince Harry and his father have been halted as King Charles will be reportedly holidaying in Transylvania when his son jets into the UK.
The Duke of Sussex is heading to London for a High Court hearing into allegations of phone hacking while the monarch will head out one of his beloved Romanian properties to relax for a few days, the Scottish Daily Express reports.
However, there will be no chance of the two royals meeting up as His Majesty has chosen to recuperate at his Transylvania holiday home after a busy few months leading up to his coronation.
Charles is known to be fond of the Romanian region which is known for the legend of Count Dracula and owns at least 10 properties there, including in Viscri and Zalánpatak.
The monarch will leave Queen Camilla at home as he enjoys some private time abroad away from the rest of the world.
GB News reports that the property he will be staying in has no TV, radio or wifi and that the King will spend all of his time hiking, painting and reading.
Harry has hardly been home to the UK since the release of his bombshell memoir Spare in January this year.
The Duke made a flying visit to attend the King's Coronation last month as he only stayed one night in Frogmore Cottage ahead of the ceremony and then left almost immediately to get back to Meghan and their kids in California.
He was also back on British soil to attend a court date in March but on neither occasion has he properly reunited with his father and older brother William.
The Duke allegedly wants to receive an apology for the way he was treated by other members of the royal family despite his own brutal public attacks on The Firm.
The news comes as Harry faces pressure in the US with an attempt to unseal his US immigration records following his confession in Spare that he had used illegal drugs in the past which is a crime that can be grounds to deny a visa application for the States.
