Vice President Kamala Harris again blasted former President Donald Trump, using his own words against him at a campaign event in Erie, Pennsylvania, the largest battleground state in these upcoming elections. Addressing a crowd of 6,000, Harris played clips of Trump describing his Democratic detractors as "the enemy from within" and saying they "should be put in jail." Harris then framed Trump as a power-obsessed figure willing to undermine democracy to secure a second term.
"After all these years, we know who Donald Trump is," Harris said, warning that he would stop at nothing to reclaim power. She focused onTrump's rhetoric, which she portrayed as authoritarian. As Trump's face appeared on the screen, Harris reminded the crowd that he had referred to those who disagree with him as enemies of the country.
