India men's hockey team's 16-1 stroll in the park against Singapore doesn't really paint the real picture. Call it the Tuesday morning blues or the foggy conditions that needed some time to adjust, Harmanpreet Singh and his men were scrappy and wasted five penalty corners in the first quarter. To his credit, Singapore goalkeeper Sandran Gugan produced his best in the quarter.
In all, India earned 20 penalty corners and managed to convert seven of them, four of which was by skipper Harmanpreet. Striker Mandeep Singh accounted for three goals.
