Boya Haren Sathvik from Karnataka secured 100 percentile score in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) 2022 for Paper 1 (of session 1). He is a student of Narayana College Co-Sindu Bhavan, Sahakaranagar, Bengaluru.
Tanmay Gajapati from Karnataka got 99.9456977 percentile in Scheduled Tribe (ST) category.
Haren told The Hindu, “While preparing for the exams, I focused on mock examinations. Most of the children panic while seeing the main paper. To avoid that, I practiced by attempting mock tests before the main exam. I worked on the errors made while attempting mock exams. Maths being my strongest point, I concentrated on improving my physics and chemistry. I was a little nervous during the last few days. Consistency is important, it builds confidence. The maths exam was the hardest for our batch, but being my strongest point, I could score well. I am currently preparing for my JEE Advanced, to seek admission in IIT-Bombay and pursue Computer Science.”
