Hardik and Savita named Hockey India men's and women's Player of Year

Hockey India Hardik Singh Savita Punia Hockey India Harmanpreet Singh Gold New Delhi Olympics

NEW DELHI: Rising star Hardik Singh and seasoned goalkeeper Savita Punia were named men's and women's 'Player of the Year' at a glitzy Hockey India Annual Awards ceremony on Friday.

Both Hardik and Savita received Rs 25 lakh each, along with a trophy. The total prize money for the awards was in excess of Rs 2.7 crore.
