Happy Valley viewers lost their minds when an eagle-eyed fan made a 'startling observation' about a Sarah Lancashire throwback photo.
The Coronation Street star, 58, plays Sergeant Catherine Cawood in the BBC show, which is now in its third series.
In the second series of the award-winning programme, fans will recall Catherine and her colleagues Ann and Joyce going to see ABBA tribute band Swede Dreamz.
Sharing a pic of Catherine at the concert, one viewer said: "Throwback to when ABBA met Catherine (Sarah)".
After analysing the photo, one eagle-eyed fan said: "That picture looks like Sarah dressed as Catherine, not Catherine, it's MAD how her physicality creates the character."
Others agreed, with another fan replying: "1000%! Never thought of this. It’s so obviously Sarah in Catherine’s clothes. Probably the great big beam on her face too. (We rarely get that from our Cath these days haha)."
While a third said: "That's a really good observation. Spot on!"
Sarah has wowed fans with her portrayal of Catherine, who's had more than her fair share of drama with her dysfunctional family.
In last week's show, viewers flocked to Twitter demanding the actress be given a BAFTA for her two-hander with Siobhan Finneran, who plays Clare Cartwright.
The emotional scene in which Catherine confronted her sister for taking her grandson Rhys to visit his evil dad Tommy Lee Royce in prison without her consent was nothing short of award-winning.
However, some fans are worried for Sarah's future on the show after Sunday's episode.
A huge cliffhanger saw Tommy - played by James Norton - managing to abscond from custody during his sentencing.
Shouting: "I'm police", he ran out of the courtroom before the doors were locked behind him. Disguised as a cyclist, Tommy headed back out into the world - but fans are concerned there's going to be a showdown between him and Catherine in coming episodes.
Noting a scene in which two officers discussed the sergeant's retirement, some viewers think the writing may be on the wall for the much-loved character.
"They keep bringing up Catherine's retirement, which means she isn’t making it to retirement," one wrote, as a second added: "Something is telling me Catherine won't be getting this retirement party."
Meanwhile, a third predicted: "So with all this retirement talk are both Tommy and Catherine gonna end up dead… #HappyValley."
