BBC One's Happy Valley will bow out tonight when the final ever episode airs. The police drama, starring Sarah Lancashire as Catherine Cawood, James Norton who plays Tommy Lee Royce and Siobhan Finneran who stars as Clare Cartwright, will broadcast its last instalment on Sunday, February 5.
The drama made its return with season three on New Year's Day after an almost seven-year hiatus. However, BBC bosses confirmed it would be the last ever series. Speaking about the decision to end Happy Valley after just three seasons, writer, creator and executive producer Sally Wainwright said: "The intention developed through conversations I had with Sarah to make it a three-parter, to make a trilogy.
"We always said this would be the final season and it is very definitely the final season." While actors have remained tight-lipped about what to expect in the finale, many viewers have wild theories about the ending. You can read more on those here.
