Sarah Lancashire's ears must be burning this past month as the Happy Valley star is consistently coming in for a deluge of praise for her portrayal of copper Catherine Cawood in the BBC Sally Wainwright series, which concludes for good next month.

The former Coronation Street star is pictured with the ABBA tribute act that appeared back in series two and one eagle-eyed fan has said how different she looks from her downtrodden-but-powerful character. Twitter page @QueenLancashire shared a photo of BAFTA award-winning actress Sarah with the ABBA tribute band Swede Dreamz. Fans will recall that Catherine and her colleagues Ann and Joyce went to see the band in series two after Ann joined the police following her kidnap and rape ordeal.
