This adorable dog went home to his owners safe and sound after spending the day in a city centre garda station.
Rocco was found wandering around Dame Street by a member of the public and was brought to gardai at Store Street.
Officers were able to reunite the pooch with his owner Anita and they reminded the public to get your pets microchipped.
A garda spokesperson said on social media: "Garda Bellew reunited Rocco with his owner Anita last night in Store Street Station. Rocco was found on Dame Street earlier that day by a member of the public.
"Microchipping your pet can be of great assistance in helping Gardaí locate their owners without delay."
