Hariyali Teej 2026 is being celebrated on Saturday, August 15, as women across several parts of India observe the festival with prayers, fasting, mehendi, traditional attire and festive gatherings. The festival falls on the Tritiya Tithi of Shukla Paksha in the month of Shravan and is associated with the devotion of Goddess Parvati and Lord Shiva.

The festival is especially observed in states including Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand. Green clothes, swings, mehendi and traditional celebrations are closely linked with the occasion.
