Prince William and Princess Kate have celebrated Prince George’s 13th birthday by releasing a new official portrait of their eldest child.
The Prince and Princess of Wales shared the photograph on July 22, marking the day George officially entered his teenage years.
“Happy 13th Birthday, George!” the proud parents wrote alongside the newly released image.
George, who is the firstborn child of William and Kate, is second in line to the British throne after his father. His 13th birthday marks an important personal milestone as he prepares to enter a new stage of his life.
The portrait was taken at Kensington Palace by photographer Matt Porteous, who has previously worked with the royal family. In the photograph, George appears confident and relaxed as he poses for the camera.
