Hanna Balcer: Mother of missing schoolgirl, 14, pleads for help as urgent police search launched in Barnet

The mother of a 14-year-old schoolgirl who vanished nearly a week ago from her home in north London urged her to “pick up the phone”, adding: “Your family loves you.”

Detectives are increasingly concerned for the safety of Hanna Balcer and say her disappearance is “completely out of character”.
