Nottingham Forest should recall Josh Bowler from Olympiacos in the January transfer window, they have been told.
Bowler is stuck in limbo at the Greek champions, where he is currently being left on the bench by manager Valerien Ismael, the former Barnsley and West Brom boss. He cannot move to another team in January having already been registered at the maximum number of clubs this season following his switch from Blackpool.
A large number of Forest fans have said they want to see Bowler back at the club amid Brennan Johnson's struggles in adapting to the Premier League. Redtilimdead : We could do with a few new players (don’t laugh) January window completely different this year as more of the season left than normal with World Cup buying us time, get the Brazilian lad in as well and shake us up at scoring end of the pitch and buy us a decent CH to par up with Moussa.

Thorpey1 : Don' t know why we loaned him out in the first place when we've been chasing his signature for a long time. Bring him back and see what he can. His creativity and goals could be handy post January.
