Premium quality handicrafts take centre stage during "Sarn Sai Yai For Sai Jai Thai's Products", which is running at the Fashion Hall, 1st floor of Siam Paragon, daily from 10am to 8pm until Thursday.
The fair gathers a wide selection of new products ranging from leather goods to woodwork, sewing works and paintings -- created by skilled craftsmen and former war veterans from the Sai Jai Thai Foundation's vocational training centre.
Highlights include the one and only porcelain tray featuring a hand-painted image of Aisawan Thiphya-Asana Royal Pavilion of Bang Pa-In Palace; and an exclusive collection of ceramic plates featuring hand-painted images of a cat, a macaw, and dogs of various breeds -- corgi, pomeranian, poodle terrier and golden retriever.
Shop for silk fabrics with 10 new Sai Jai Thai patterns; new rose-patterned scarves; and a variety of bags including fabric bags with rose prints, genuine and faux leather bags available in two shapes and 12 colour palettes, and handbags with different motifs.
Also available are household products including bedding items in new floral patterns, floral tablecloths, coffee cup sets, chocolate fondue sets, vases, photoframes, lamps, flowerpot stands, shoe racks, as well as flowers and plants.
All proceeds will go to support the foundation's military veteran members and their families.
The fair also features products from the Kamlangjai (Inspire) Project under the royal initiative of HRH Princess Bajrakitiyabha and Pat Pat Shop of the Chaipattana Foundation.
For those curious to know about their future, a group of celebrated fortune tellers of various disciplines from Siri Wattana Cheshire Foundation are there to read their lives.
