Hampden & Co has reported record first half results, with total income up 47% year-on-year to £8.8m, with deposits up 21% to £731m.
The Edinburgh-based private bank also saw loans and advances rise by 14% to £434m.
Demand for its specialist mortgages and loans - such as residential, retirement, buy-to-let, guarantor, multi-property and self-build mortgages - was most marked in London and the South East, accounting for around two thirds of total lending in the first half; while lending in Scotland also remained strong.
