Hamleys has revealed its Festive Fifteen and among the flashing lights and whirring gadgets of Regent Street’s famous red-fronted toyshop, the season’s heroes are soft, simple and deeply nostalgic: a classic teddy bear, a slice of cuddly toy pizza, and the TY Bouncer – a small, furry ball with a face. They are, in essence, the toys that truly capture what being a child actually feels like.
