An Asda in Hamilton has caught shoppers' attention online by selling Christmas food products in July.
The supermarket split opinion after it was seen to be stocking items such as Christmas Bakes and Festive Loafs at the height of summer. The products are normally only sold at Christmastime, and are contained in festive-themed boxes.
One customer who spotted the out-of-season items was quick to share the news with other shoppers on Facebook. Writing in the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, they said: "ASDA Hamilton getting started early".

Since being shared, the post has received over 360 likes and more than 150 comments. Asda fans were quick to voice their thoughts on whether it was appropriate.
One argued: "It's like they're wishing summer away!"
"Haven't even had my summer holiday yet," joked a second.
A third revealed: "Likely clearing out their freezer back up. You would be surprised how low priority working freezer stock can be when it lasts over a year."
If I knew I wouldn't get banned I'd be swearing A LOT right now," another angry Facebook user wrote.
Others, meanwhile, felt there was nothing wrong with selling Christmas food products in July. Some even argued that purchasing them this early would be a good way to save money ahead of December.
One said: "The people laughing are probably the same people that leave everything to the last minute and then moan when the shops are shut for a day."
"Get them now and freeze them may not be able to afford them at Christmas the way prices are rising," a second echoed.
A third agreed: "If anybody else is like me I'm about to start getting sorted for Christmas money is really tight and starting early you can spread the cost a bit more but I mean presents not food yet."
