Global pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca has lent its support to Hamilton Accies Community Trust by donating an amazing £4000.
The science-led, patient-focused firm awarded the Lanarkshire charity the cash boost in recognition of the amazing work that the Trust has done whilst "selflessly serving their community."
Accies director Colin McGowan was on hand to receive the cheque prior to the football club's home tie with Queen's Park last Saturday afternoon from Paul Nicholas of AstraZeneca.
Colin told Lanarkshire Live : "Support like this makes a massive difference to the Hamilton Accies Community Trust and enables us to help so many more individuals, families and children across the Lanarkshire community.
"A huge thank you to Paul Nicholas and AstraZeneca for believing in what we do here and donating an amazing sum of cash so we can continue to deliver our services such as our Foodbank which takes place within the Club's Northstand every Thursday morning and is open to all without prejudice."
