CHANDIGARH: The Punjab and Haryana high court has stayed the Assam Rifles recruitment rally 2021-22 after hearing a plea alleging alteration of criteria by the selection agency midway, depriving those possessing National Cadet Corps (NCC) certificate of additional marks prescribed under the original advertisement.

The recruitment process, included the selection of around 1,200 posts for technical and trade cadre on different ranks from Riflemen, Havildar to Naib Subedar based on their special qualifications and traits.
