Halloween is one of the most iconic horror film franchises ever. The slasher franchise has spanned 12 films as well as novels, comic books and a video game.
The films are Halloween movie night staples and you're bound to find at least one Myers, or his enemy and the series' protagonist Laurie Strode, if you're hitting up any costume parties. Now, there's a new instalment to enjoy and, if star Jamie Lee Curtis is to be believed, it'll be the final time we see our main hero take on Myers.
Halloween Ends is the third part of a rebooted trilogy from director David Gordon Green. In July 2021, Curtis told Digital Spy that the outing would be her last as Laurie.

"That last week in Savannah, Georgia, when I knew every day going to that set was going to be the last time I was going to be Laurie and be with my people, I cried every day," she told the publication.
When is Halloween Ends released in the UK?
The film was released in cinemas on October 14, with showings planned for all major cinema brands. The film has a runtime of 1 hour and 51 minutes.
Unfortunately, you won't be able to catch the film from the comfort of your own home in the UK quite yet. In the US, Halloween Ends is being streamed on Peacock, but there are no details of when the film might come to a UK streaming service yet.
What age rating is Halloween Ends?
As expected, the film is packed with scary scenes and a great deal of violence. The British Board of Film Classification has confirmed that the film will be certified an 18, meaning anyone 17 and under will be unable to see it in cinemas.
Who is in Halloween Ends?
As mentioned above, Jamie Lee Curtis returns for the final time as legendary protagonist Laurie Strode. Curtis debuted as Strode in the original Halloween film way back in 1978 and has reprised the role five times in between, in Halloween II, Halloween H20: Twenty Years Later, Halloween: Resurrection, in 2018's Halloween and Halloween Kills in 2021.
Andi Matichak is also set to return as Laurie’s granddaughter Allyson Nelson. As for Michael Myers, James Jude Courtney and Nick Castle will both share the role of the notorious villain.
Castle played the role of Myers in the original horror film back in 1978 and has returned for cameos in three other Halloween sequels. Halloween Ends will be his final performance as the antagonist.
The cast will also include the likes of Will Patton (Remember the Titans, Armageddon), Rohan Campbell (The Right Kind of Wrong, The Valley Below) and Kyle Richards (The Hungover Games, The Prince).
