Half of us say we are stuck in a rut and in need of change

New research reveals that over half of Brits (61%) feel that they are ‘stuck in a rut’, with over half (59%) in need of a change in their lives. The research, commissioned by Virgin Media O2, also reveals that the top three things Brits would like to change is their fitness (42%), closely followed by their social life (35%) and their house (32%).

Other areas of life Brits would like to change include their career (30%), car (22%), and mobile phone (17%). Despite Brits admitting to feeling stuck and wanting a change in their life, over half (52%) are held back by the amount of money they think it will cost to make a change and just over a third (35%) are concerned about the amount the effort it would take.

Whilst making changes feels overwhelming for many Brits, Virgin Media O2 is making one change easy with its Switch Up offering from O2, which allows customers to switch their mobile device for a new one whenever it suits them.

A Virgin Media O2 spokesperson, said: “We understand it’s not always easy to switch up the big things in life, which is why we’re making it easier for our customers to get their hands on a new phone whenever it suits them, giving them the freedom and control to decide what they want, when they want it.

“No matter how big or small the change, switching to something new helps to keep things fresh. With our Switch Up offering, our customers can get that extra excitement of a new phone whenever it suits them.”
