The number of London families entitled to £150 discounts on their energy bills next winter will go up by more than half a million under new proposals currently under consultation.
The Government is proposing to extend its Warm Home Discount to all households in receipt of means tested benefits regardless of the size of their heating bills. Currently only the families with the biggest bills are entitled to claim it.
