The next legal step is largely procedural, but its consequences could be immediate, alerts the Miami Herald. Once U.S. District Judge Ana C. Reyes receives the Supreme Court's official mandate and lifts her stay, approximately 350,000 Haitians currently protected under TPS could lose their legal status and become vulnerable to deportation.
