The Hairy Bikers' Simon 'Si' King has announced a brand-new solo project.
'Si' King and his sidekick and co-star Dave Myers recently left fans devastated after issuing an update on their recent show after they starred in their Hairy Bikers Go Local series, which aired on BBC.
However, last week after just eight episodes, the duo revealed the 'sad' news that the show is already over.
At the time, the duo informed fans of the news on social media, writing: "Sadly, the series has come to an end. We hope you enjoyed the series and the journey we went through with each episode, we look forward to seeing you on your telly sometimes soon."
The show update came just days after Dave Myers admitted that he’s ‘learning to live with cancer’ as he gave a health update to his concerned fans.
Although the show is over, all is not lost, as Si is heading on a solo adventure of his own - and it's just around the corner.
Taking to social media to announce the good news, the much-loved TV star shared: "EXCITING NEWS.
"I’m heading to @pubinthepark Leamington Spa and Tunbridge Wells in July, then Chiswick in September. Find me at the Saturday sessions at these locations! See you there? Head to the Pub in the Park website to sign up for early pre-sale access on 3rd Feb."
Pub in the Park is the brainchild of celebrity chef Tom Kerridge, who aims each year for the festival to celebrate everything there is to love about the glorious British pub - and Si is over the moon to be taking part this year.
Si's good news comes after his pal Dave shared some positive news of his own amid his cancer battle.
Earlier this week, the 65-year-old seemed optimistic in an interview about his wellbeing following his cancer diagnosis last year.
Speaking on BBC Breakfast, the chef gave an update on his health battle, for which he has been undergoing treatment for since April.
He said during the show: "The treatment is still ongoing but I'm kinda doing all right, it's like many people, it's something one learns to live with."
