Hair stylist is first man to appear in an Ann Summers campaign

James Johnson, celebrity hair stylist, has become the first man to feature in an Ann Summers campaign, along with a forthcoming clothing collection. James will appear in shop windows across the brands 140+ stores nationwide dressed in the “Intoxicated Bodystocking” and thigh-high lace-up boots.

James said: “I am so excited, and proud, to be the first male in an Ann Summers campaign. I have worked with the brand for a while behind the scenes, so when they asked me to be involved I leaped at the opportunity.

"I adore Ann Summers and how inclusive the brand is, and to be a part of something so monumental is just amazing. I want to show people that guys can wear anything they like, and wear makeup if they want to.

"If wearing a catsuit or cat eyeliner empowers you then go for it. Dare to be you, dare to be different.”

The campaign also features Love Island Alumni, Lucie Rose Donlan. An exclusive video will be released in line with the launch and includes circus performers from the LGBTQIA+ community.

The Ann Summers Halloween Campaign launches in stores on 11th October with James Johnson appearing in windows, online and on social media from October 17.

James Johnson, 26, is a celebrity hairstylist who boasts clients such as Mel B, Una Healy, Abbey Clancy, Christine McGuinness, Gemma Collins, Amy Childs, Billie Faiers, Jacqueline Osborne, Saffron Barker, Lucie Donlan, Joanna Chimonides and Katie Price.

He started his career in a salon before embarking on a showbiz path and he has since done hair for XFactor, This Morning, Lorraine, TOWIE, Celebs Go Dating, Hello, OK!, Fabulous and more.
