Reiss expressed confidence in Ackermann's ability to leverage the brand's authentic heritage and elevate its garments to new heights.

As part of his appointment, Ackermann has launched an exclusive sweatshirt in support of Polar Bears International (PBI), an organization dedicated to studying and safeguarding polar bears and their habitats. The initiative was inspired by Ackermann's visit to Churchill, Manitoba, a renowned hub for polar bear sightings.

Ackermann's commitment to environmental conservation aligns with Canada Goose's ethos, prompting him to collaborate with renowned climate activist Jane Fonda to raise awareness and drive action on climate change. The duo's joint efforts aim to inspire individuals to take immediate steps towards addressing the pressing environmental challenges facing the Arctic region.

The launch campaign for the special sweatshirt, priced at $275, features Fonda wearing the garment, with all proceeds from its sales directed towards supporting Polar Bears International.
