Leeds United supporters were left outraged after their side collapsed in the second-half of their 4-2 defeat to Ligue 1 side AS Monaco at Elland Road. The five week break was supposed to be an opportunity for Jesse Marsch and his side to work on their frailties while the World Cup played out in Qatar.
However, the defeat to the French side left a lot to be desired. Whites supporters once again took to social media calling for investment to be made in the squad in January.
Leeds are just two points above the Premier League relegation zone, with one of the worst defensive records in the division with Manchester City up next on the horizon. City's top goal scorer Erling Haaland will come into the clash refreshed having not featured at the world cup.
