H&M Studio's Fall 2024 Collection Is Inspired by Jazz Musicians' Day-to-Night Wardrobes

Every fashion collection has an origin story. A detailed description of how it was conceptualized and created, engineered for consumers to feel compelled to pick up its pieces and continue the tale. The H&M Studio Fall 2024 offering's narrative is one of the most interesting of the season.

"For fall, the design team was inspired by the strong but easy-going style of jazz musicians, throwing on a look and hitting the stage, then out into the night," explains Linda Wikell, concept designer at H&M. "As always with H&M Studio, there's a focus on the juxtaposition of masculine tailoring and feminine dressing. We've remixed classics in fresh, exciting combinations for a modern wardrobe proposal."

The collection is all about reinvention and versatility. Details like extended epaulettes and metallic weaves make it modern, while classic silhouettes make everything exceedingly easy to work into your current wardrobe. The accessories are on point, too.
