A Reddit post by an individual who claimed to be an H-1B visa holder went viral as he said he applied to over 1,500 roles across the US over the past few months and did not get even one call from any recruiter. The Redditor gave his background that he is not a fresher and has an H-1B visa and has been working for more than three years now as a data engineer in Ohio. But his present company has decided not to renew his H-1B application and that's why he is on a job hunt.
"I have hands-on industry experience building pipelines, working with cloud technologies, ETL workflows, and production systems. Unfortunately, my current company, has decided not to renew H1B applications, which has forced me to actively search for new opportunities," the Redditor wrote.
