Goop, Gwyneth Paltrow's lifestyle powerhouse, is celebrating its 15th birthday, and it's celebrating in the most Goop way possible: with a new villa on the Palm Beach' shore.
Gwyneth's brand partnered with The Colony Hotel, also known as the most stylish hangout in Palm Beach, Florida, to create a two-bedroom villa that radiates 'quiet luxury' and is officially taking bookings now. However, after a look around the property, we warn it may be very hard to leave.
'We wanted to create a really beautiful and unique space that our community could come to and really feel the goop aesthetic,' Gwyneth says in Goop's blog. To do so, she enlisted the expertise of New York design firm Ronen Lev to create a restful, indisputably chic space that pays the ultimate homage to her brand.
Why Palm Beach? Gwyneth grew up visiting Palm Beach with her family, meaning it consequently holds a special meaning for the wellness guru. She notes how she gets decorating ideas both from her travels and a Pinterest board labeled 'Future Renovations.'
'I love a space to feel like it's been around for a long time, with the provenance of old material, millwork, moldings, and handsome proportions,' Gwyneth explains. 'And then I like things to feel a little more contemporary and clean and feminine.'
We owe much of this aesthetic to Gwyneth's furniture choices, including a 'gorgeous couch' from the Invisible Collection, a vintage coffee table, and Cartier trays that adorn the living room.
It's no secret that Gwyneth is a fan of Monogram appliances since she's known to cook on them in her Montecito home, after all. So, it's unsurprising that they also feature in this villa kitchen. 'I'm obsessed with my Monogram range, so we had to have one here,' she says.
Leading from the bedrooms, including a gold-hued primary suite, is the main bathroom when Goop really comes into play. 'We outfitted it with Brizo faucets. And, of course, you get your bathroom full of amazing goop products when you check in as well.'
There is also a loft space, described as the perfect spot to work from home, but of course, we don't encourage any such activity while on vacation. Here, we see the Re-Jute rug, the result of Goop's collaboration with Ruggable, that we're rushing to bring into our homes in ways far beyond our lofts.
Inspired by the harlequin floors in Italian palatial buildings, this geometric rug (in midnight blue on a warm beige background) is the Gwyneth-approved statement piece we've been searching for.
Bookings for the Goop villa are now available via The Colony Hotel, and, what can we say, except we're racing to plan our next Florida break the Gwyneth Paltrow way.
