Great Western Railway (GWR) has issued a list of all of the end times for its New Year's Eve train services, which will stop earlier than usual due to disruption caused by rail strikes - leaving some commuters and New Year's party attendees in a difficult spot.
Weeks of rail strikes amid talks around working conditions and pay have had a knock-on effect on the number and frequency of train services that companies like GWR can provide. With little movement from Transport Secretary Mark Harper, this disruption is set to continue into 2023.
The rail company has said ahead of the New Year's Eve disruption: "Trains will be disrupted with a significantly reduced level of service throughout the day. Trains are expected to be very busy and will finish earlier than usual. Please check your journey before you travel, especially if travelling at night, with some short-notice cancellations likely."

There are more national strike days set for the people who work on and around the nation's rail services, including a five-day strike from January 3 to 7, so further disruption to rail services during and after those dates should also be expected.
Below are all of the altered end-times for the Great Western Railway services running on New Year's Eve. Passengers are advised to still check before they travel.
