For much of the past decade, the residential map of the National Capital Region was relatively easy to read. Delhi remained the established urban core, Gurugram emerged as the corporate and premium housing hub, while Noida and Greater Noida built their own employment and infrastructure-led residential markets.
Faridabad occupied a different position. Close to Delhi and supported by an established industrial and residential base, it offered relatively greater space but did not command the same premium-market attention as Gurugram or Noida. That equation is now becoming more nuanced.
