Gurugram: Daily Covid cases nearly 500, positivity rate crosses 12%

GURUGRAM: Covid-19 cases continued to spike across the city with 495 more people testing positive for the virus on Friday, up from 473 the day before. The positivity rate too rose from Thursday’s 11.8% to 12.3% in the last 24 hours.

Gurugram has 1,695 active cases at present, of which 11 patients are admitted to hospitals and the remaining 1,684 are in home isolation. As per data shared by the health department, Gurugram has logged 5,519 Covid cases in April so far, nearly 170% more than the 2,037 cases recorded in March.
