Gun Recovered In Pennsylvania Matches Shell Casings At Crime Scene

New York City Police Department Commissioner Jessica Tisch announced on Wednesday a significant development in the investigation of the shooting of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson. According to Commissioner Tisch, a gun recovered during the arrest of Luigi Mangione in Pennsylvania has been forensically linked to the crime scene where Thompson was shot.

Commissioner Tisch stated that the NYPD crime lab was able to match the recovered gun to three shell casings found at the Midtown location where the homicide took place. This crucial forensic evidence provides a direct link between the weapon and the scene of the crime.
