Gujarat govt gives in-principle approval for projects worth Rs. 87 crore for distribution of drinking water in AMC

AHMEDABAD: Gujarat chief minister Bhupendra Patel has given in-principle approval for works worth Rs. 87.16 crore for distribution of drinking water in Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation(AMC) under the Swarnim Jayanti Mukhyamantri Shehri Vikas Yojna.

Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation has commissioned existing water treatment plants of 650 MLD and 200 MLD capacity at Kotarpur Water Works of the city and with the planning of additional 300 MLD plant, the total capacity of this plant will be 1150 MLD.
