- Seven Afghan refugees have been charged with rape and child sex abuse offenses, accused of being part of a grooming gang in Norwich, Norfolk.
- The charges are the result of a Norfolk Police investigation into group-based child sexual exploitation, with the alleged offenses occurring between August 2023 and May 2025.
- The men appeared before Norwich Magistrates’ Court on Friday and were granted bail until a plea hearing at Norwich Crown Court on June 19.
